My strawberries & cream overnight oats contain natural sweeteners, packed with nutrients and easy to assemble. I love oats in every form; but a different texture comes from cold, overnight oats versus warm oatmeal. There’s a creamy, refreshing texture in overnight oats, and it doesn’t alter your fruit toppings.  These strawberries & cream overnight oats remind me of those Quaker Oats oatmeal packets I used to love. My recipe, however, is gluten-free and celiac-friendly!

All you need for most overnight oats recipes is a medium sized bowl, a spoon, and patience for a few hours. This has a lot of protein and will keep you satisfied throughout the morning, making this a great meal to prep for your entire week’s breakfast!

 

Strawberries & Cream Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 
  • 1 1/2 cup soy milk
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup
  • 1 cup strawberries, finely diced 

Instructions

In a medium bowl, stir together the oats, chia seeds, and salt.

Add the rest of the ingredients and use a spatula to combine everything well.

Cover and let the oats sit for at least 2 hours or, ideally, overnight.

Top with extra strawberries or other fruits and nuts if you desire before serving!
